Flexible and innovative vending franchises from RP Vending Systems

Marketing coordinator Amanda Aldridge explains that the company has developed a back to base monitoring system that allows operators to check their stock levels remotely.

RP Vending Systems provides a complete business package with their vending franchises, providing on-site support when machines are installed, and organising regular training sessions to keep franchisees up to date with new technology.

Operators of RP Vending Systems vending franchises are provided with machine sites and wholesale partnerships. Cashless machines also available, which can increase sales while providing a simple purchase method for consumers.

Vending machine owners vary - couples with or without families, single parents, friends, colleagues, and blue and white collar workers. Some consider the investment as a primary revenue source and others enjoy a second income.

Bobby Majadas has been operating one of RP Vending Systems vending franchises in the ACT since October 2009, when he bought his 10 combination vending machines.

With the business still developing, Majadas allows six hours per week to stock his machines, dividing that time over two visits of three hours. He allows another two hours per week for administration and ordering.

Previously working as a supervisor in a major supermarket chain, Majadas has seen a significant decrease in working hours since taking on his new business.

"I can completely control this business on my terms, with no pressure as I get older but with the help of RP, I can also grow it as quickly as I want. I can work for myself from home, keep active and never be bored,” he says.

Vending franchises allow operators more flexible work hours, something that Majadas says has given him more time to look after his family while still having his own identity.

“I feel secure for my retirement and future," he adds.
