Royal Life Saving Society of Australia partners with Poolwerx in quest to eliminate preventable drowning
The campaign involves PoolWerx technicians conducting free poolside safety inspections in association with Royal Life Saving.
The announcement has been made to coincide with the start of the traditional spring/summer swimming season, and is part of the Royal Life Saving’s goal of eliminating preventable drowning in suburban swimming pools.
Royal Life Saving CEO Rob Bradley says the partnership with PoolWerx is a logical and powerful fit and he has thanked PoolWerx for joining their commitment to safe and healthy pools.
“Through PoolWerx, which is the largest pool and spa maintenance network in the world, we can get direct access to pool owners this season to check their pools for safety, and promote our safety messages” said Mr Bradley.
“By partnering with PoolWerx we can share our simple but vitally important messages about preventing drowning and disease in swimming pools” he said.
PoolWerx CEO John O’Brien says PoolWerx is delighted to be supporting such an important cause.
“Royal Life Saving has been serving Australia for more than 100 years, and what is more important than saving the lives of our kids?”
“PoolWerx has more than 300 pool technicians in backyards every day around Australia, and we look forward to working with Royal Life Saving in their quest to eliminate preventable drawings”, said John O’Brien.
The program will involve local PoolWerx franchisees conducting free pool safety audits for concerned pool owners in the region. 30.11.2007
