PacNet Global Security-in-the-Cloud service comprises a comprehensive hosted firewall solution that meets enterprises’ many security needs. This is a cost-effective and easy-tomanage solution when compared to traditional Customer Premise Equipment (CPE)-based solutions, where hefty maintenance costs on equipment and security software updates are incurred by enterprises. PacNet’s new Global Internet VPN service allows customers to establish a reliable and highspeed VPN connection over the public Internet. The service’s unique value proposition to enterprises is that the VPN connections are delivered through an Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) tunnel over PacNet’s own robust IP backbone infrastructure, which spans eight countries across the Asia Pacific region.
