More details of Layer 2 MPLS mobile broadband plans from business communications service provider Pacnet announced
Business communications service provider Pacnet has announced the launch of its new range of mobile broadband plans, designed for use in a layer 2 MPLS network.
The company has engineered its offering with a view to being unique in the market, offering significant benefits to Australian businesses.
Chief executive officer of Pacnet Australia and New Zealand Deborah Homewood notes that the communications service provider is the only one in the market to be offering a product designed for use in a layer 2 MPLS network.
“Pacnet is dedicated to delivering the highest-quality and most resilient private networks in the market,” she says. “We are enabling businesses to utilise integrated 3G access path for roaming, redundant or remote access where a fixed line connection is unavailable, which enables us to deliver increased value for small to medium enterprises.”
With the deployment of more web-based applications and cloud-based services, the communications service provider has identified the need to solve internet downtime issues.
Their business connect bundle satisfies this need by providing a complete connectivity for business including:
- ADSL 2+
- 3G back-up
- a mobile 3G dongle;
- and the hardware required for a smooth fail over and fail back in the event of an internet outage.
Pacnet will deliver 3G access for layer 2 MPLS as a bundle through partnership with Optus, as well as providing a range of standard 3G internet plans to meet the growing mobility needs of business communications services.
The new plans each come with a static IP address as standard and 24x7 access to Pacnet’s qualified technical support team.
“We also know that businesses appreciate the high level of customer service that we deliver to the market,” adds Ms Homewood.
