Of course, franchisees rightfully expect frequent quality contact from the franchisor, and that promised support will in fact be provided by competent support staff who can add value to the franchisee’s business. Franchisees are prepared to accept that the franchisor will maintain an element of control over the running of the business, and are happy to par the franchisor initial ongoing fees provided they obtain value for money.
