NightOwl Convenience is Australia’s largest stand-alone convenience franchise with 63 stores across the country.
Qualifications Required:
No retail experience is required. Retail and franchising excellence is taught, regardless of experience or background.
Sites/Territories available:
NightOwl Convenience Stores and NightOwl Super Stores are available nationwide. The business specialises in retail convenience and performs exceptionally well in cities and regional locations across QLD, NSW and VIC with further expansion planned. We have current opportunities in both new and existing locations including; Townsville, Deeragun, Airlie Beach, Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Pottsville.
Business Established:
NightOwl’s first store was opened in Auchenflower, Brisbane in 1975.
Franchising Commenced:
In 1986, NightOwl began to franchise its stores and in 2007, Adam Adams became Franchisor and took over the business operation, which has resulted in 40 percent growth.
Training Provided:
Franchisees joining the team are trained fulltime for five weeks pre-settlement in both store management and business management with a further two to 12 weeks post settlement offered and ongoing business support through the Operations Team.
Marketing Support:
NightOwl’s Marketing Team delivers monthly in-store promotional packs for franchisees, which includes all point of sale material for negotiated deals and pricing. In addition to this, NightOwl encourages franchisees to be creative and entrepreneurial with local area marketing.
Capital Investment Required:
Initial upfront investment varies from $200,000 to over $1,000,000, depending on the site.
Agreement Terms:
NightOwl’s standard Franchise Agreement is 10 years and runs concurrently to the lease term. Additional terms of five years are available.
Number Of Units:
NightOwl currently has 63 sites with both NightOwl Convenience and NightOwl Super stores.
Units Outside Country:
Nil, NightOwl is 100 percent Australian owned.
