Nanotek car detailing franchises clean up at the Sydney International Motor Show
Currently taking place at the Sydney Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, the annual International Motor Show gives the world’s major car manufacturers an opportunity to display their current vehicle models, as well as showcasing new innovations within the industry.
Besides hundreds of sparkling new cars at this years show, there will be another familiar sight, with staff from Nanotek car detailing franchises responsible for maintaining vehicles from four major manufacturers.
As Franchise Development Manager Adam Stone explains, Nanotek has developed a strong relationship with manufacturers when it comes to new model launches and drive days.
“We have looked after a lot of new model launches this year” he says. “VW, Mitsubishi, Holden, Ford, Mazda, Isuzu and Hyundai have all been very active and it has been great to be a part of so many new models hitting the road.”
The Sydney Motor Show presents a challenge on a different scale, however, with Sydney CBD franchisee Sue Taylor and a team of staff from the car cleaning franchises responsible for maintaining 80 cars from four major manufacturers.
“This year we are looking after Holden, Ford, Hyundai and Suzuki. We needed 14 staff full time for the ‘bump in’ but after that, thanks to the finish left by the exclusive products we use, maintenance for the rest of the Show is quite easy,” Sue says.
Nanotek car detailing franchises utilise an exclusive product range based on liquid polymer nanotechnology, which is not only scratch-free, but leaves a protective coating that gives vehicles a glossy, polished finish.
Prior to the start of the Motor Show, Ford selected Sydney for the world launch of their new car, the Ranger.
This new offering will be manufactured in Australia and exported to the world, and not only were Nanotek the exclusive detailers for this launch, but only staff from the car cleaning franchises were permitted to touch the vehicle during the course of the show.
Exclusive arrangements such as this are a major vote of confidence in Nanotek, says CEO Jim Cornish.
“It is a big responsibility, but one we are very proud of and we are confident that we can deliver the results are clients have come to expect. The concept car on the Hyundai stand [at the motor show] is only permitted to be steered by our staff, so our responsibility extends well beyond the car cleaning and detailing for which we are renowned,” he says.
In a revised format, Sydney and Melbourne alternate as venues for the annual International Motor Show, which means Sydney only gets to host this car spectacular every two years.
Nanotek car detailing franchises are already booked to cover the next event in Melbourne next year, along with many new model launches across Australia.
