Mr Whippy claims that its brand has an immense awareness. The fast food business feels flattered to say, “Mention the name Mr Whippy to just about anyone and you will immediately receive a smile! The name “softens” the “hardest” person; breaks the toughest ice; makes the saddest individual happy and brings warm feelings.”
Market research carried out by Bonlac Foods has showed that people prefer the unique taste of the Mr Whippy product. The fast food business has made all ‘White Milk’ and ‘Soft Serve Ice Cream’ to a patented recipe. The cost of a Mr Whippy store with new equipment could amount to between $135,000 and $185,000, while a store with pre-owned equipment could cost between $100,000 and $150,000.
