Mr Rental named in BRW Fast Franchise list on first punt

Mr Rental  hire franchise has hit the BRW Fast Franchise list for 2011 after a period of developing the franchise system and focusing on expansion strategies.

Mr Rental CEO Glen Hickman said it was the first year the company registered and the success of being listed alongside Australia’s leading franchises was a testament to years of solid growth for the hire franchise.

“We’ve invested a lot of time and energy into the systems, especially IT and human resources, and redefined the business model to ensure our success,” Hickman said.

BRW ranked Mr Rental as the 27th fastest growing franchise by revenue and 32nd by franchise outlet.

“The combination of regular Monday to Friday working hours and the peace of mind of recurring revenue that comes from ongoing rental streams have seen Mr Rental become a franchisee lifestyle favourite, and thus helped fuel our growth,” he said.

“Most Mr Rental franchisees are currently experiencing growth in annual profit of almost 20 percent compared to the industry average of 12 percent.”

Mr Rental currently has 80 hire franchises across Australia and New Zealand and since franchising in 2001 has enjoyed high levels of success including winning the 2010 Franchise Council of Australia’s (FCA).
