Mortgage Choice , Best in the Mortgage & Finance Industry*, is proud to have placed on the BRW Magazine’s Fast Franchises list for the sixth consecutive year.
The only financial services company in the past six successive years to achieve this feat, Mortgage Choice is one of seven businesses to have appeared on the annual list each time since its inception in 2004.
Mortgage Choice Managing Director, Paul Lahiff said he is delighted that the company and its home loan franchise network have achieved such high-profile recognition by one of Australia’s most respected business publications.

The BRW Fast Franchises is a list of the most successful listed and privately owned Australian franchise systems, which are ranked according to their average annual revenue and outlet growth rates over the three years to 30 June 2008.
Ranked 35th in revenue growth (total revenue of $161.4 million for FY08), the mortgage consultant franchise began operations in 1992 and at the end of FY08 generated $11 billion in housing loan approvals. As at 30 June 2008, the company’s loan book had reached $33.3 billion, up 12.2% on FY07 and ahead of system growth of 10.1%.
Mortgage Choice was ranked 39th in terms of outlet growth, with a 9.1% increase.
The national publicly-listed franchisor has accomplished a number of achievements recently, the most recent being reaching finalist status in the 2009 Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) Awards – the winners of which will be announced on 27 February.
Mortgage Choice’s other major accolade so far this year its place in the 2009 10 Thousand Feet Top 10 Franchises list. The company also appeared in the inaugural Top 10 Franchises list, in 2008.
