Renowned chef collaborates with Matchbox homewares franchises to offer kids cooking DVD

Now available from Matchbox homewares franchises, ‘Real Kids, Real Food’ is a kids cooking DVD that has been designed in collaboration with renowned chef Stephanie Alexander.

The DVD sees Stephanie sharing the spotlight with students from the innovative Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program, demonstrating how easy it is to cook delicious meals including home-made pasta and gnocchi from scratch.

Five mouth-watering recipes are presented in a step-by-step guide that covers all aspects of preparing the meals, from picking fresh produce in the garden to using equipment such as sharp knives safely in the kitchen.

Stephanie believes the DVD, available exclusively from Matchbox homewares franchises, will make it easy for parents to get cooking with their kids.

“My happiest childhood memory is learning how to cook delicious meals by my mother’s side and sharing them with family and friends,” she says.

“The DVD shows my passion for encouraging young people to cook and have fun in the kitchen. Cooking with children at home can be an incredibly rewarding experience.”

All proceeds from the sale of the DVD at Matchbox giftware franchises will go to support the thousands of children across Australian primary schools currently participating in the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program.
