Client of MYP Corporation business advisors wins Franchisor of the Year

MYP Corporation business advisors have announced that one of the company’s first clients, Mr Rental, has won the coveted National Franchisor of the Year award at the 2010 FCA Awards.

Founded in 1983, Mr Rental took the bold move to start franchising in 2001, and within two years had expanded to over 30 stores renting home and office appliances throughout New Zealand and Australia.

The company currently operates 70 retail stores, and in 2008 won the Emerging Franchise of the Year Award in Australia, and Retail Franchise System of the Year in New Zealand.

Acknowledging the support from MYP Corporation business advisors, Mr Rental General Manager Alan Payne has said that one of the keys to the success of the business was “an in-depth business development system designed to assist franchisees to be successful and grow using a number of tools which measure performance at the three levels of business we focus on.”
