About MAS Tax Accountants
Franchisees can target either a narrow range or a wide range of Accounting and business services.
We provide solutions for qualified, partly qualified and non-accountants.
We offer Franchisees extensive initial training and on a regular ongoing basis as well as Marketing and Business Development training and support. We provide a 1300 phone number that is staffed by us to take your phone calls and forward client leads to you, eliminating costly admin overheads. We can provide extensive support in all areas. If you are not a Tax Agent we can assist in supervising and training you so that you can get your own license. We provide all IT systems including state of the art hardware infrastructure and software. This includes laptop workstation preloaded with MYOB, Quick Books and handisoft accounting software. Licences for these are covered for the term of the franchise.
Low cost entry into your own business. A $5000 Refundable deposit with the balance on signing a franchisee agreement will secure your place.

Delivery of tax services are simplified and efficient using our proven system and checklists provided.
Minimal overheads exist with our business model. No rent and associated costs exist with your home office combined with the “We come to you” concept.
Hardware is included to get the job done. We provide a laptop to give you a truly portable workstation.
Access to our server and IT systems provide you with state of the art hardware infrastructure and software.
Software is preloaded onto your laptop including MYOB, Quick Books and Hand iSOFT accounting software. These are all licensed for the term of the agreement and as such include all upgrades and phone support for the entire term.
All IT systems, hardware and software requirements are included in our franchise package. Note that this also includes upgrades and annual fees for phone support. This in itself is a significant component of your Franchise fee.
IT System is included that normally only a large Corporate could develop and is central to our package. Critical time saving efficiencies are available to you that usually a small business can only dream of enabling you to gain that competitive edge.
Remote log in within our secure system enables you to access your client data, compile returns with access to our external review and supervision to ensure your client is getting the best possible return (whilst still complying with current legal requirements).
Simplicity from client interview stage (using our client interview sheets that ensure all relevant details for tax returns are obtained), to entering data into the return, review of return and finally lodgement. Of course all follow ups required can be done via our access to the ATO portal.
All returns are lodged by a registered agent via our IT system ensuring compliance.
Initial Training is comprehensive to ensure that all Franchisee’s fully utilize our time saving and efficient system.
Initial Training is tailored to suit individual skill sets and future targeted clients.
At Mas Tax accountants we do not force you to pursue a particular client type. It is your business and you are free to pursue your own target market. Of course we offer advice and support as requested or required from our broad experience.
Ongoing Training is critical to success. This will fine tune and enhance your knowledge, enabling you to become more efficient with our system and we will provide you with information on any changes in legislation that may be relevant.
Phone Support is provided for the entire term of the agreement (five years). This will ensure that you have professional support and advice for any technical issues.
Confidence is provided because you will know that you are providing the best return possible (within current legislative guidelines) for your client. Hence our guarantee “best tax return or its free”.
Peace of mind will be yours because one of our registered Tax Agents will check every return before it is lodged.
A National Marketing campaign is provided to enhance corporate branding and to generate consumer awareness of MAS Tax accountants. This of course generates more clients for our Franchisee’s.
Localised Marketing to target your local area. This is structured to Kick start your business and to generate clients from your desired location and customer profile.
Marketing Support is offered to assist in structuring any campaign that you would like to create for your business on an ad hoc or ongoing basis.
Corporate branding package is included. This includes an array of logos, business cards, letterheads, customised email signatures etc. to project a professional image.
Key KPI’s are reviewed by head office on a regular basis for our own information. To ensure our Franchisee’s also have an insight into their own business performance we will assist to regularly monitor Franchisee’s own KPI’s to ensure they are also well informed. This will ensure success with your Franchise.
Business analysis is also simplified utilising our purpose built Excel, Access system.
Business Coaching to encourage and motivate all Franchisee’s is an integral part of the package. Benefits of business coaches are well proven but often seen as being out of reach of many small businesses.
Membership of our group of like minded professionals with a dedication to grow their own businesses is automatically available as a MAS Tax Franchisee. This enables participation in a forum to share experiences and ideas with other professionals in the same industry. This is an invaluable asset to all MAS Tax Franchisee’s.
