Lenard’s Newcomb chicken franchise recognised in national awards

The Newcomb, Victoria branch of Lenard's chicken franchises was recognised recently with a Merit Award in the Franchise Council of Australia’s 2010 Excellence in Franchising Awards.

Franchise Owner Marcus Smith and Store Manager Rob Wall accepted the award, which recognises excellence in business management and franchise citizenship.

Marcus says that the pair are pleased to receive the award, and are already looking to back it up with a major award win next year.

Under the guidance of the brothers-in-law, the Newcomb branch of the chicken franchises has grown from strength to strength over the past fifteen years of operation.

Last year the store received both a regional FOOTY (Franchise Owner of the Year) Award and a Best Customer Service (Victoria) Award.

Marcus Smith has also been inducted as a member of the exclusive Lenard’s Golden Feather Club for three consecutive years.
