Latte Cartelle trial new SMS ordering system to cut waiting times at select coffee franchises

Latte Cartelle  coffee franchises in Hallam and Dandenong will trial an SMS ordering system to reduce the time it takes to fulfil large coffee orders.

The initiative was driven by local businesses in the area that may send one person to purchase multiple orders from the coffee franchise.

The system aims to reduce waiting times for these customers who can then get back to work faster.

The coffee franchises require SMS to contain the coffee size, type and sugar with any extras such as syrup or soy milk added on the end.

The barista at Latte Cartelle will confirm the order. Coffees should be ready in approximately 10 minutes however the barista SMS’ a confirmation time so that customers are not left waiting.
