The financial commitments of owning a Jesters franchise
This investment covers such items as;
- fanchise fee
- fit out of premises
- all display equipment, stationery, kitchen equipment and opening stock
- opening promotional campaign
- legal costs
Why do we charge an initial franchise fee?
The initial franchise fee is in consideration of Jesters establishing the business and in particular compensates Jesters for:
- Use of Trade Marks and established goodwill
- Supplier selection and volume buying arrangements
- Merchandising program
- Standardised accounting and reporting
- Site selection and shop fit-out
- Lease negotiation
- Staff training and management assistance.
What is the royalty levy?
Presently Jesters charges a franchise royalty of 6% of gross sales. This fee is applied to support various areas of the business from field support and management, through to R&D and recipe development, as well as the ongoing use of naming rights.
The Royalty levy is payable weekly via direct debit. 24.09.2007
