The emergence of Jesters as a national beverages franchise
Before the merger, the Shakespeares Pie company has been operating since 1994 and Jesters since 1997 as independent pie distributors in Manly, New South Wales and Perth respectively. The two merged in May, 2005 and since then the Shakespeares Pie company has been functioning under the brand name ‘Jesters’.
Despite the merger and the re-branding, the Jesters franchise has managed to stay loyal to the tradition and the clients of both firms. The Shakespeares Pie company was developed based on the 20 year gourmet experience and food manufacturing, retailing, marketing and small business management of its founder. While Jesters was a store that retailed pies created based on chef-inspired recipes. Jester’s pies were hand-made everyday using top-quality, all-natural ingredients.
The Jesters franchise combines the best qualities of both the firms. The end result is beverages franchise that serves healthy, quality-approved, delicious pies throughout the Australian and New Zealand region. 30.11.2007
