Jesters store layout and operations
- Store designs and layouts are developed based on the layout of the new premises and the experience we have gained in other stores both in Australia and New Zealand.
- The ideal layout has been developed after constant refinement and research. We select the best available equipment, much of which is especially designed to our specifications and requirements. This ensures a professional base on which to make the best products. Qualified and experienced shop fitters are used to construct and refurbish all stores.
- At the end of the construction phase a formal site review will be conducted by a Jesters representative, our franchisee and the Shop-fitter to ensure that al I aspects of the build have been completed satisfactorily.
Store operations
- Inventory holding requirements are minimal and there are no debtors to chase and wastage is minimal compared with other businesses.
- Unlike some retail food outlets you are not required to commence, operating your store at an unreasonably early hour because it just takes approximately I hour to open a store.
- Standard operating hours are set for each franchise subject to specifics pertaining to the site e.g. a mall location but in general hours of operation are from 8.30am to 7.00pm.
- Systems and procedures are in place to allow our franchisees to plan and adjust daily their Jaffle Pie requirements ensuring production needs are met as well as minimising end of day stocks.
