The Jamaica Blue franchise offers exciting opportunities for those interested in joining its successful network. The restaurant and café business operates contemporary cafés in over 40 locations across Australasia. The cafés of the beverages franchise are located in prominent locations in some of the most popular retail centres and shopping complexes in Australasia. Franchising opportunities are available across the UK, New Zealand and Australia.

Some of the common traits that are required for a person interested in joining the beverages franchise include high levels of enthusiasm, integrity, and work ethic; strong communication and people management skills; financial stability; and die-hard commitment to maintain high quality standards.

Jamaica Blue offers its franchise rights for a term of ten years. After the expiry of the term, the franchisee of the restaurant and café business is bound by a conditional option of renewal, under which the Jamaica Blue franchise renews the contract only upon the member satisfying certain criteria. One of the main requirements is that the franchise must be in a position to pay 80 per cent of the current franchisee fee. The franchisee is also allowed to sell his shop if he is unable to meet the requirements.

However, the franchise of the beverages franchise can transfer his rights only if the prospective buyer meets the requirements laid by the Jamaica Blue franchise, and is also ready to comply with the conditions of the franchise. The franchise wishing to transfer the rights is required to pay a transfer fee to the café franchise to cover charges related to evaluation and training of the new franchisee.
