Intelligent Accounts reports that new legislation helps small business lodge BAS
Bookkeeping franchise network Intelligent Accounts reports that Registered Bookkeepers will now be able to lodge BAS on behalf of business owners.
By September 30, it is essential that all Bookkeepers:
- Hold a Certificate IV Financial Services (Bookkeeping)
- Have undertaken at least 1,400 hours of relevant experience
- Be authorised by the ATO to lodge your BAS
For small businesses, the dreaded quarterly BAS seems to come around all too quickly and many find themselves racing against the clock to get all the required information accurately lodged by the due date.
This change in legislation will only accelerate demand of highly qualified bookkeepers.
Intelligent Accounts franchise network provides highly skilled and trained bookkeepers that are capable of much more than just bookkeeping. We answer a demand in the market to help SMEs with compliance. Many small businesses struggle to keep up with their books and BAS lodgement is one more headache they have to deal with.
The demand for ATO qualified bookkeepers is on the increase, so much so that many accountants are overwhelmed with clients requesting help with their bookkeeping.
Intelligent Accounts, bookkeeping franchise network and subsidiary of Yield Services, was listed as one of BRW Fast Starters 100 in 2009 and has started franchising this award winning business model for this very reason.
