Bookkeepers to register with the ATO before September 30 reports Intelligent Accounts
Intelligent Accounts reports that the cut off date for all practicing Bookkeepers to register with the ATO is September.
Bookkeepers must hold a certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) and have undertaken at least 1,400 hours of relevant experience to be authorised by the ATO to lodge BAS.
Work conducted by Intelligent Accounts franchises is BAS compliant and guaranteed to receive no fines for late filing. As Accredited BAS providers Intelligent Accounts can file BAS returns if required.
Businesses use an activity statement to report and pay a number of tax obligations, including GST, pay as you go (PAYG) instalments, PAYG withholding and fringe benefit tax.
It is important that correct information is submitted to the ATO and it is the businesses’ obligation to provide this, there is heavy fines imposed by the ATO for non submission of information and not complying with the rules.
You can eliminate this issue by appointing an accountant from Intelligent Accounts to prepare these statements for businesses. The bookkeeping franchise network can guarantee that no fines are incurred for late filing. Intelligent Accounts are accredited BAS providers.
