Congratulations all around - I Can Read franchises makes it mark in Thailand and Indonesia

The I Can Read Master Franchise Bangkok was awarded the Best Innovation for Parenting 2012, which was presented by Real Parenting Magazine. The award was based on the majority vote of Thai parents and presented to the ICR Master Franchise at their celebrations on 16 and 17 March 2012 at Central Rama 9.

Furthermore, Total Literacy International congratulates the Master Franchisor in Indonesia who has opened two new I Can Read centres.

The reading programme enables students to see how letters combine to create invariant sounds, empowers the student to take control of his or her own reading progress and is fun and easy for children and adults.

This literacy programme created the approach to reading which teaches students to analyse single sounds (phonemes) and more importantly, theorised the neural linkages between the left inferior frontal gyrus and the left parieo-temporal area which subsequent research has shown enables beginning readers to phonologically link sounds and letter(s) and to assemble the sequence of sound-letter correspondences.
