HydroDog is Australia’s No 1 choice - washing and grooming 45,000 dogs nationally each month. HydroDog franchisees provide a clipping, washing and total pet food and pet care service from their all-weather, highly visible unique 'Blue Dog' mobile salons. Franchisees must be dog lovers with a desire to succeed in their own small business. With the HydroDog established brand name and support from HydroDog’s head office, you can earn an above average income between $1,000 and $2,000 per week for your efforts. Most franchisees are dog lovers who are looking for a change of lifestyle – working outdoors, choosing your own hours, loving your clients and their treasured dogs. Franchisees spend 2 to 3 weeks training including comprehensive clipping skills with an approved clipping instructor appointed by HydroDog.
Advertising and Marketing Strategies include massive Yellow Pages advertising in all Australian states, local paper advertising, leaflet distribution and local shopping centre promotions to generate customer leads. All calls generated by marketing are answered by a centralised call centre and are sent via SMS to the franchisee to follow-up and action. Our call centre receives in excess of 9000 new leads calls nationally per month. In today’s busy lifestyle, dog owners are happy to have their dogs and puppies cared for by HydroDog – they rely on us for many of their pet needs.
HydroDog works on a weekly flat management fee system. We do not collect royalties on your sales. The more you work, the more success you achieve and the more money you make. Franchisees are offered a 10 year agreement with a further 10 year option. The franchise may be sold as a going concern (with many franchisees getting a 25%-60% return on their initial purchase price) at any time during the agreement period.
Franchisees are allocated exclusive 5,000 home areas with 1 mobile salon included in the business purchase price. Franchisees can also earn additional income from the sale of pet food, pet care and accessories.
