Mobile franchise, Hairdressers on the Move gives Wollongong resident her life back

Alicia in Wollongong found she was working tirelessly as a full time employee and did not have the flexibility to choose her hours before she signed on with mobile franchise, Hairdressers on the Move .

“There has to be a better way for me to get what I want out of my career, I need to work smarter and not harder,” she decided before embarking on a mission to find the type of employment that would allow her to get her life back.

Now the owner of Hairdressers on the Move in the Illawarra area, Alicia says her mobile franchise is like a breath of fresh air and frees up her spare time to allow her to get involved in the community, play sport and enjoy time with family and friends.

Alicia has finished with 45 hour or more weeks, working public holidays and weekends, and generally feeling like she was missing out.

In just over a year, she was able to grow her 25 clients into 100 regular clients who she visits every six to eight weeks to provide hair colour, style cut, head massage and professional expertise services.

Alicia cites the mobile franchise’s franchise system and franchisor’s as integral in her hairdressing franchise’s success.

“The system that Sara Taylor has put in place makes it easily adaptable, especially for new business owners, striving to grow their own franchise to the level and scope that they are comfortable with,” she said.
