The
Gutter-Vac Service System
The
Gutter-Vac service system is used in a wide variety of cleaning services
including gutters, ceiling cavities, rainwater tanks, schools, storm water sumps
and commercial sites. The Gutter-Vac machinery easily vacuums both wet and dry
material and allows for the quick and safe removal of debris and leaves from
domestic and commercial dwellings. As there is no other systemized service in
the market that competes with Gutter-Vac, its acceptance by householders and
commercial owners has been rapid.
Franchise Relations
We build
personal relationships with our franchisees. Our franchisees can communicate
with us at any time in relation to any problem they may encounter (or for no
reason at all). We understand that if a franchisee needs to solve a problem,
then someone has to be available to help - so every franchisee is invited to
call us personally 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. If we can't help over the
phone then we will send a field support staff member to the franchisee to help
them resolve their problem.
We also
communicate with our franchisees via regular updates and training, quarterly
reviews, quarterly newsletters and an annual conference.
We
believe that our franchise relationships are built on trust, so our focus is to
have a group of franchisees that not only feel that they have bought a good
business but that they can trust the people that help them manage that business.
One way that we show our franchisees that we are trust worthy business partners
is by continually seeking and securing State and National contracts on their
behalf. Negotiating and entering into these contracts is outside the ability of
our franchisees and is a very time consuming process. So while we secure the
work, they get on with business...
We also
provide franchisees with comprehensive personalised training, tailor made
support programs, access to corporate contracts, an online job booking service,
a 1300 call centre service, a personalised website landing page, capped
royalties, useful benchmarking data and a bonus “kick-start” advertising
package.

Ballantyne has been elected to the FCA Queensland State Chapter Committee is at
the forefront of franchising.
We pride
ourselves on our leadership within our industry. Prior to Gutter-Vac there was
only one way to effectively clean gutters and that was by hand. We have
pioneered the first effective gutter vacuuming machine. From the inception of
the Gutter-Vac franchise system we have been dedicated to the development of our
machinery, training methods, use of technology and the application of relevant
safety systems.
We are
dedicated to ensuring that each of our franchisees (and their employees) have a
safe working environment and are protected from personal harm. Gutter-Vac has
developed its own safety equipment that is designed specifically for temporary
roof work. Our equipment has been tested to meet all Australian standard
requirements and is supplied with every franchise pack (we also sell
approximately 2500 devices to the Australian market each year, for more

course, which is Australian standard compliant. Our comprehensive franchise
training course incorporates that safety course.
Financial information
Our
franchisees are profitable to the level they choose. We have some franchisees
that choose a work-life balance, while others work very hard to grow their
business. On average:

Our
initial franchisee fee is $88,900, for that initial franchise fee, our
franchisees are provided with:

month royalty holiday for the first 6 months of operation;
