About Guava Bean

Specialty coffee at its very best, Guava Bean brings a new meaning to a coffee franchise. With a boutique, independent specialty coffee feel, coupled with strong branding and a proven business model, Guava Bean stands to be the prominent name in this ever-evolving Australian specialty coffee industry.

Guava Bean is extremely passionate about two things … coffee and people. Australians are becoming more and more educated and fussy about the coffee they drink. Gone are the days that cafes can get away with serving bad coffee, so Guava Bean’s vision is to ensure that all the fussy coffee drinkers’ needs are fully met. With the Australian specialty coffee industry evolving at such a rapid pace, Guava Bean strives to be at the forefront of this dynamic industry, serving exceptional coffee in every cup.

Bringing a boutique, independent specialty coffee feel in all its stores, and putting it together with the proven franchise business model, Guava Bean is the perfect combination for franchisees who are not only passionate about coffee and the specialty coffee industry, but also want to learn from and be part of a boutique and pioneering specialty coffee franchise.

BARISTA TRAINING & COFFEE

Guava Bean not only provides full intensive training on all aspects of running the business, but the barista training provided is extremely exclusive and rare. Guava Bean’s franchisees and their baristas are trained by best in the industry, including David Makin and Zoe Delaney. David Makin is famous in both the Australian and international coffee industry, his achievements include being the two-time Australian Barista Champion, the runner-up World Barista Champion, and he is currently a World Barista Judge.

This year Guava Bean has also partnered and now co-owns a specialty coffee roastery, Axil Coffee Roasters. This not only solidifies Guava Bean’s passion for the bean, but also allows Guava Bean to have vital control over the coffee and blends it serves in all its stores, and the quality of the beans and the complete roasting process.

In becoming a Guava Bean franchisee, you would become educated in the whole coffee experience, and will provide to your customers seasonal coffee blends, and also a huge variety of single origin coffees that are sourced from the best coffee farms from all over the world.

AWARDS

In November 2010, Guava Bean won a Bronze medal at the Golden Bean Awards 2010/11 in the Coffee Chain category. Being the first year entering the Golden Bean Awards, achieving such recognition demonstrates that Guava Bean is already making its stamp on the Australian specialty coffee industry.

Our roastery, Axil Coffee Roasters also won a Bronze medal for their espresso blend in the Golden Bean Awards 2010/11.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR, AND WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

We are firstly looking for people who are absolutely crazy about coffee! But more importantly, we are looking for franchisees that are keen to learn about this business and the industry, and who are honest and of true integrity.

We would first like to have a chat with you to know more about you and your interest in becoming a Guava Bean franchisee. The next step is for you to sign a confidentiality agreement, and then we can meet for a coffee to talk in more detail about the exciting opportunities we have for you.

To make any enquiries, please fill out the email form above or visit our website via the link.

We look forward to hearing from you, so we can embark on an exciting coffee journey together!
