Colin Mackenzie from Granite Transformations Announced The Eastern Region Winner of the Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards
After a rigorous nomination and interview process with each of the finalists for the Eastern Region, an independent judging panel consisting of some of NSW most successful business leaders, had the difficult task of choosing just four category winners out of 18 category finalists.
In selecting Colin as the winner in the Retail, Consumer & Industrial Products category, the judges commented, “Colin has created and now dominates a market that didn't exist using an incredibly simple and innovative idea with huge market potential. The full financial outcomes have yet to be realised, but they are potentially enormous."

Colin MacKenzie will now vie for the national Entrepreneur Of The Year title, which takes place in Sydney in November this year. At the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Award Ceremony, a national winner in each category will be announced, and from those, one overall winner will be selected as the Australian Entrepreneur Of The Year. The winner will then go on to represent Australia at World Entrepreneur Of The Year in Monte Carlo in June 2006.
