Exhibitions deliver the goods on franchising
Staged annually since 1987, the Franchising Expo has been the forum to provide visitors with not only the opportunity to look and compare dozens of individual businesses, but also the chance to talk face to face with, and learn from industry experts at a comprehensive free seminar program.
This year there is an additional focus on education at the show. Visitors are encouraged to participate in the Franchising Boot Camp - a power packed introduction to 'everything franchising' featuring presentations and panel discussions from Franchisors, Franchisees, financial institutions and the Franchise Council of Australia.
Also new this year will be a series of seminars titled ‘Women in Business'.
The 'Women in Business' Seminars and the accompanying 'Women in Franchising' presentations are just the beginning of a major program being mounted in 2007 by the franchising community to help more women take their place at the top of franchising companies," said Jon Perry, Exhibition Director.
"The Franchising & Business Opportunities exhibitions have proven to be an important learning centre for people considering their own business," said Exhibition Director, Jon Perry. "Visitors are able to ask questions and meet dozens of companies in the one place. Information that would normally represent days of appointments, meetings and discussions can be researched in a matter of hours," he said.
The remaining 2007 Franchising and Business Opportunities Expos will be staged at the Adelaide Showgrounds5 -6 May, Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre 23-27 May, Brisbane Exhibition Centre 9-1 August and the Melbourne Exhibition Centre 12- 14 October coinciding with the National Franchise Convention.
