Smartline brokers named best of the best
Another Smartline broker, Ms Karen Le Comte, was also recognised at the Australian Mortgage Awards and was named one of six finalists for the Young Gun of the Year award.
The awards, held recently at Sydney’s Luna Park, recognise the excellence and achievement of individuals and companies in the Australian mortgage industry.
Cathy was chosen from a competitive pool of thousands of brokers across the country to win her Young Gun award, given to outstanding brokers that have been in the mortgage franchising business for less than two years.
She was also nominated in the National ‘Broker of the Year (franchise)’ award and was chosen as one of five finalists in the category.
“Smartline’s customer-centric attitude and its excellent support mechanisms provide its franchise owners with the foundations to deliver outstanding customer care and generate significant business from word-of-mouth referrals,” said Cathy.
“I am very proud to have received the award and it provides me with the drive to continue delivering a service above and beyond clients’ expectations.”
With 15-years experience in finance and banking, Cathy launched her Smartline franchise in Blackwood in 2005.
Karen also has more than 20 years experience in the industry and launched her Smartline franchise in Cleveland in June, 2006.
Despite owning their franchises for a short time, both Cathy and Karen have built solid reputations as some of the country’s top mortgage brokers and have received numerous accolades from clients and her peers.
