Franchise Council of Australia news from John O'Brien
However, the New Year also holds challenges. With inquiries into the franchising sector being held in SA and WA and staff recruitment levels at a record low, the FCA will aim to appropriately represent the sector and work closely with the full-deck of Labor Governments throughout 2008.
It is with this in mind, I am delighted to welcome the FCA’s new Executive Director Steve Wright. We are very excited about what Steve brings to the FCA.
Steve’s experience in industry advocacy and stakeholder relations, including government relations, at the national level over the past 15 years made him a strong fit for the FCA. On behalf of the sector, I thank the FCA support team, Board, State Chapter Executives, strategic Alliance Partners and suppliers.
Best wishes to all for a safe Christmas and prosperous New Year.
