The new Leader of the Opposition, Dr Brendan Nelson, has appointed Malcolm Turnbull as Shadow Treasurer and installed Julie Bishop as Shadow Minister for Employment, Business and Workplace Relations.

Announcing his shadow ministry, Dr Nelson said that the new Coalition team “strikes the right balance between fresh faces and experience”. He has also appointed Gold Coast MP Steven Ciobo as Shadow Minister for Small Business, the Service Economy and Tourism.
