FCA getting Inside Franchising
Inside Franchising will take a fast-paced, unbiased look at three to four franchises each episode, and Cavanagh said he had received overwhelming support from the Franchise Council of Australia.
Executive Producer, Michael Cavanagh is behind the groundbreaking new business program - Inside Franchising, and said he was proud to be involved in the production of an Australian first.
“At present, there are over 850 franchise systems, 55,000 franchise business units, and 600,000 employees working under a franchise system in Australia,” Cavanagh said.
“Considering the size of this industry, we saw a real market for the show.
“We’re expecting a highly involved audience to tune in for the show each week; these viewers could be working in the industry, or interested in purchasing a franchise.”
Inside Franchising will take a fast-paced, unbiased look at three to four franchises each episode, and Cavanagh said he had received overwhelming support from the Franchise Council of Australia.
“The response from the industry has been incredible, we’ve got some big names on board for the first series, and all of them have a really interesting story to tell,” he said.
“For each franchise on the show, we’ll look at the businesses’ CEOs, the dynamics within each franchise system and what contributes to the success of the business.”
Cavanagh said Inside Franchising had attracted a highly experienced crew, with an extensive background in television production.
“The host of our show, Samantha Kume, has over 18 years of journalistic experience. She also brings a business perspective to the show, having started up her own company two years ago,” he said.
“Troy Hazard is the other presenter on the program, hosting a regular segment in each episode. Troy has an incredible business and marketing background and will share his knowledge with viewers each week.”
Cavanagh said the Inside Franchising website had recently been launched and had already attracted a huge number of hits.
“The website will be a great point of reference for anyone interested in the industry. It’ll feature episode summaries, tips from the experts, franchising jobs and franchises for sale, and even a franchise suitability test,” Cavanagh said.
