Fisher & Paykel Customer Care franchisee wins Franchise Council of Australia Franchisee of the Year Award for WA
One of Fisher & Paykel ’s very own team of dedicated and hard-working Customer Care franchisees, Gary and Adriana Woodgate, have won the Franchise Council of Australia Franchisee of the Year Award (Western Australia Chapter) in the category for less than two staff. The award was presented at a gala dinner at the Burswood Casino, Perth on 15 June 2012.
Gary and Adriana have also been awarded the Fisher & Paykel National Franchisee of the Year award for the second year in a row, which recognises excellence in the areas of:
- customer service
- brand values
- technical ability
- self-organisation and,
Gary and Adriana are now in the running for the national award which will be announced at the Franchise Council of Australia national conference in Canberra in October.
Each nominee in the Franchise of the Year Awards is independently judged against:
- business planning and performance
- systems management
- franchise citizenship
- support networks and wellbeing
- marketing and customer contact
- openness to learning and,
- change and community contribution
This award is a credit to the way Gary and Adriana run their business and is richly deserved because of their commitment to excellent customer service, according to Fisher & Paykel Franchise Business Representative in WA/SA, Shay Scott.
"It’s difficult to find candidates who are motivated enough to contribute to their community and professional enough to maintain the high standards of Fisher & Paykel’s Customer Care service," says Shay.

Gary and Adriana have had a very successful year and have been praised for their excellent contribution to the community through school and sports team sponsorships, as well as their forward-thinking marketing initiatives, which all helped earn them the top title in WA.
"We’ve had a really good year off the back of a lot of hard work, and it wouldn’t be possible without the fantastic support we receive from Fisher & Paykel," says Gary, who has owned and operated his business for 12 years.
"We have bi-monthly meetings where we can discuss any issues or concerns with Fisher & Paykel management.
