First Class Accounts operators take pride in delivering a range of services to help small and medium-sized businesses work smarter through delivery of accurate bookkeeping services, timely management reporting, compliant statutory returns, staff training, set-up of accounting and office software, plus help with cash flow and debt management.
Since its inception in 2000, our network of professional bookkeepers who we have trained has helped us go from strength to strength and achieve industry recognition. Now, with around 150 franchises nationally we are Australia’s leading bookkeeping brand, and we continue to build on our success.
Join First Class Accounts to work for yourself - not by yourself
Qualifications Required
Whilst it is not necessary to be a practicing bookkeeper or accountant, a First Class Accounts franchisee should be computer-literate, have experience in record keeping and ideally in bookkeeping or accounting, have an eye for details and have a passion for helping small businesses to succeed.
Training
We provide seven weeks extensive training - via both correspondence and live-in training, after which you will be licensed to commence business as a First Class Accounts business owner. Together with our registered training organisation partners we’ll also assist you to work towards the Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) and to gain accreditation to provide BAS services. We give support to our franchisee network via one-on-one business development meetings, quarterly regional training sessions, newsletters, franchisee advisory forums and an annual conference attended by franchisees and industry partners, such as MYOB.
Our system will also buddy you with an established and successful First Class Accounts franchisee to offer mentorship and guide you in the early stages of your business.
Combine this with the motivation and readiness to develop your own business, a commitment to the highest standards of customer service, plus the readiness to take on the responsibilities of a business owner, and you’ll have what it takes to join and succeed in our network.
Marketing Support
Brand marketing and lead generation activities are undertaken at both national level, and at local level where our national office will assist you in local area marketing activities.
