Fernwood franchise plans to expand in health and lifestyle sector
The Fernwoodfranchise plans to open another 23 clubs by June this year and to venture into Western Australia, New Zealand and South Africa in 2006/07. The gym franchise currently has 65 franchises across Australia.
Since opening its first club in Bendigo, Victoria in 1989, the health franchise has become the largest organization of its kind in Australia with more than 80,000 members and 2,275 employees.
The company’s vision is to be a world class brand with 150 profitable clubs by December 2008.
