Fastway franchise leads to second honeymoon

Amit Pillay’s hard work has paid off, recently winning an all expenses paid weekend away for him and his wife, in the Auckland Fastway franchise sales competition. Amit provided more than 40 leads in one week, with a 44 per cent conversion rate into sales. Amit says he targeted delivery customers, discussing their existing courier franchise service and working on those who were unhappy with the service they were getting.

Amit has more than doubled his Fastway franchise’s income since he bought it, 18 months ago.

Amit has taken his mobile franchise customer base to 60, mainly by providing good customer service to both his pick-up and delivery customers.

“I think you can achieve customer acquisition through good service. I spend time with new customers and developing relationships with existing customers. Plus, presentation and image are important,” he said.

Amit originally trained in IT, but the desire to own his own courier franchise, plus advice from family and friends encouraged him to buy a Fastway franchise.
