Brisbane Fastway franchisees get back their lives

Lou and Graham Phillipi started as courier franchisees with the Fastway franchise in Brisbane in 2001. By applying the tried and tested Fastway franchise “saturated marketing” process they steadily grew their courier franchise. By 2005, their run was so busy that both Lou and Graham were flat out 13 hours a day, running between customers and taking time out after hours to do their paperwork for their mobile franchise. That’s when they decided to split their run.

Not only did they make a good profit on their sale of part of their run, but they have now begun to rebuild the number of customers in their remaining territory and are now only a few hundred dollars per week behind in their earnings compared to before the split of their courier franchise. However, their remaining territory is now much smaller and easier to service and they have been able to cut back both their hours and their vehicle running costs, in particular fuel costs. As Lou said, “Splitting our territory gave us back a life!”
