EmbroidMe franchise increases global expansion

The United Franchise Group, consisting of the Sign*A*Rama franchise , the EmbroidMe franchise and Billboard Connection has significantly increased its global expansion.

The United Franchise Group’s International department has established nine new Master License territories in the first seven months of this year including Romania, Portugal, two in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Bahamas, Netherlands, New Zealand and South Korea.

The expansion is just the beginning according to Jim Tatem, United Franchise Group Vice President of Training and International Director, “We have an immediate interest right now in Austria, Russia, Chile and Mexico, among others. We have no plans to slow our progress. We encompass the world’s largest franchise systems in the signage, embroidery and outdoor advertising industries. Our brands and our success are becoming widely known around the world, to the point where we have to hire more staff to support the demand.”

The company is expected to end the year with a total of eleven new territories opened between all of their brands, and is on track to surpass their target of sixty new individual franchise units opening outside of the domestic US market.

“Our international expansion has increased so rapidly,” explains Tatem, “that an International Day was designed in an effort to bring attention to the tremendous efforts of the International department, as well as recognition of the outstanding international growth of the United Franchise Group.”

The goal is to inform and involve the more than 100 member staff of the United Franchise Group in the growth of the department and the expansion of their brands on a global scale.

“We want all members of our team to be active in the development and support of our franchisees, at home and abroad,” urges Tatem.

To signify these efforts, the United Franchise Group has determined that August 24th will hereby officially be “International Day” for the company and its subsidiaries. All are welcome to participate in the celebration and support the growth and profitability of the United Franchise Group worldwide.
