What every potential Eagle Boys franchisee must do
With any new Eagle Boys franchise , it is essential that both the potential pizza franchisee and franchisor undertake some research, to maximise suitability for the new fast food franchise, which could save a lot of time and money down the track if things do not go according to plan.
The potential Eagle Boys franchisee will receive an Introductory Package, which will include contact details of existing Eagle Boys franchisees. The potential Eagle Boys franchisee is encouraged to contact these pizza franchises to discuss the Eagle Boys franchise systems and ask any further questions they may have about the pizza franchise. The franchisee is also encouraged to inspect some Eagle Boys franchises to gain a first-hand look at how a pizza franchise operates.
Within three weeks of the pizza franchisee’s initial contact, the Franchise Development Manager will then call to discuss any other questions and to provide further advice and direction in regards to the fast food franchise. After this stage, the potential Eagle Boys franchisee fills in the Franchise Information form for the pizza franchise.
The franchisee is then invited to the Eagle Boys franchise for an obligation-free discussion about establishing and operating an Eagle Boys franchise. After this discussion, the Eagle Boys franchise will assess personal and financial suitability. At this stage, the potential fast food franchisee is permitted to work “at the coalface”, that is a one or two day stay at an existing Eagle Boys franchise to view operations and to help the franchisee gain an appreciation for the flavour of a fast food franchise. Then, the Eagle Boys franchise provides a copy of an estimated cost sheet. The Franchise Development manager may be able to provide actual sales and expense figures from existing pizza franchises. It is strongly recommended the Eagle Boys franchisee reviews this documentation with an accountant, or another financial service professional.
After this stage, the Eagle Boys franchise provides the fast food franchisee with a Disclosure Document which includes a sample standard Franchise Agreement, allowing the franchisee to review commercial arrangements. A Business Plan Package is given to the Eagle Boys franchisee, to aid in compiling a business plan. The Marketing Field Trainer contacts the franchisee at this stage to discuss the marketing aspects of the Eagle Boys franchise in detail. The Franchise Development Manager reviews the pizza franchisee’s draft business plan and requests any necessary amendments or additions.
Once finance for the fast food franchise is approved, the franchisee attends a Panel Interview at National Office, where a panel of key executives reviews the pizza franchisee’s business plan. The franchisee then meets with the Eagle Boys franchise Training Manager, as well as meeting with the marketing, legal, construction and IT departments.
Now the seven week training program commences, where the Eagle Boys franchisee will be trained at both the store and at National Office in all aspects of the pizza franchise. The Training Department closely works with the fast food franchisee to ensure all the necessary skills are absorbed.
Once approved by the Training Department, the process of site selection and construction fit out can commence in readiness for the Eagle Boys franchise opening.
