Eagle Boys franchise on track

by EAGLE BOYS

Eagle Boys franchise partners are ensuring they have their finger on the pulse by taking advantage of an innovative new online ordering system that processes and delivers the advertising requirements of all franchises around Australia.

PrinTrak, a sophisticated yet user-friendly online print management system, was the brainchild of Australian businesswoman Paola Tanner, who recognised a need for franchises that required up-to-date and proactive local store advertising.

“It’s often difficult and time consuming for franchised companies to micro-manage all the advertising needs of their franchisees,” she says.

Through PrinTrak, fast food franchise partners have been able to easily manage their advertising by simply logging onto the system over the internet. They can browse through catalogues and order and track their requests online.

“The system has given franchisees an opportunity to expand their local store advertising with very little effort,” Tanner says.

Australian-owned Eagle Boys Pizza first started using PrinTrak last year and now over 60 percent of the company’s 155 franchises are taking advantage of the system.

“Franchisees can often overlook their individual store’s advertising needs, so the system helps to remind them via fortnightly e-newsletters. PrinTrak has also pointed them in the right direction for advertising concepts and ideas,” Tanner adds.

Pizza franchise managing director, Tom Potter, says the PrinTrak system has enabled the company to improve brand image and the consistency of advertising that franchisees undertake.

“With Eagle Boys growing extensively it just wasn’t sustainable to produce artwork in-house as well as organise production and distribution for all stores around Australia,” Potter says.

“With PrinTrak we can also save money by using the buying power of the network, which in turn offsets the cost of print production.”

The PrinTrak system has also helped Eagle Boys franchisees keep tabs on what other franchisees within the company are doing, as well as enabling stores in the same area to team up and initiate a campaign as a group.

“When franchisees place an order through PrinTrak, national office is notified by an email and can approve the concept online,” Potter explains. “Following this, the order is placed into production and the franchisee, field staff and national office can electronically track it all the way through to the final delivery stage.”
