Eagle Boys Pizzza website awarded for record hits

Australian pizza lovers are increasingly turning to the net with Eagle Boys Pizza ’s website scoring record hits and two Top Ten Awards from Hitwise.

The nation’s second largest pizza franchise group, Eagle Boys recently took out 5th and 6th position across the past six months in the Australian Food and Beverage (Brands, Manufacturers & Restaurants and Catering) categories.

Hitwise collects the aggregate number of visitors to websites and ranks websites’ popularity. This is the first time the Eagle Boys Pizza franchise group has taken out places in its Top Ten.

It comes as visits to the Eagle Boys website have jumped more than 300% during the past 12 months, resulting in a surge in online sales of more than 300%.

Eagle Boys Managing Director, Todd Clayton, said the awards and visitation reaffirmed the effort that went in to the design and launch of the company’s revamped website 12-months ago.

“This is a great achievement for Eagle Boys to win these awards as our focus has always been making our website as interactive and relevant to pizzas lovers as possible,” he said.

“The overall impact has been huge, with visits to the website increasing by more than 300 percent and visits from various search engines by 164 percent. Our online sales have also felt the benefits with an increase of over 300 percent.

“We’ve really only just scratched the surface on how we can make our site better for our customers. From ordering online to finding your local store to learning more about the menu, we know pizza lovers are turning to the net. As we move forward, we want to make sure they not only find our site but also find it valuable.”
