True Blood creator to visit Dymocks Adelaide
Dymocks Adelaide will be welcoming New York Times bestselling author, Charlaine Harris, the mastermind behind the The Sookie Stackhouse series.
Harris will be meeting, greeting and talking with her Adelaide fans in the Burnside Ballroom on Wednesday, 1 August 2012.
Harris is best known for The Sookie Stackhouse urban fantasy series about a telepathic waitress and her encounters with vampires, werewolves, and other supernatural creatures.
The hugely popular book series was made into a television success, True Blood, which premiered in September 2008. The television series received critical acclaim, winning a coveted Golden Globe and an Emmy.
The Adelaide book franchise store is offering fans the chance be involved in a Q&A session with the popular author and have their book/s signed.
The latest title in the Sookie Stackhouse series, Deadlocked, will be available at the event, along with Harris’other series of crime books, about librarian Aurora Teagarden who belongs to the Real Murders Club.
