Dymocks sign on to the 2011 Melbourne Writers Festival as their official bookseller

Dymocks  retail franchise has announced it will join a sensational line-up of writers as the official bookseller and major partner of the Melbourne Writers Festival.

Featuring over 400 writers from around the world and more than 400 events, the Melbourne Writers Festival (MWF) is a nationally and internationally-acclaimed festival.

“Dymocks is committed to supporting writers and home grown literary events.

“As a central hub of the Festival, the Dymocks MWF onsite bookstore will offer an enhanced book-buying experience to supporters of the event,” Dymocks Chief Executive Officer, Don Grover said.

Dymocks Collins Street retail franchise will host the official onsite Dymocks MWF bookstore which will be located in the Atrium of Federation Square for the duration of the Festival.

The Dymocks MWF onsite bookstore will offer an ideal place to browse books by writers featured at the Festival, and will hold a number of author book signings.

The Festival program features entertaining discussions, debates, readings, film screenings, interviews, literary banquets, performances, workshops and book launches, as well as a lively schools' program for primary and secondary students.

The 2011 Melbourne’s Writers Festival is being held at Federation Square and selected side venues with events running from 25 August to 4 September.
