Dymocks retail franchises have released the Acer Iconia range and new eBook app for Android

Dymocks  retail franchises will start selling the latest Acer computer tablet range in conjunction with the launch of a new eBook app for Android, in selected Dymocks stores around Australia and online.

The products will support Dymocks’ multichannel strategy to deliver a range of new ways to access book content.

The Dymocks eBook app for Android allows customers to search, buy and read more than 200,000 EPUB and PDF eBooks protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management.

The retail franchises’ new offering also stores all purchases in one bookshelf on the Android device and lets customers accrue Booklover Rewards Points with every purchase.

Dymocks Chief Executive Officer, Don Grover said the retail franchise has been selling books for over 130 years and has always been at the forefront for offering choice and flexibility to customers in their efforts to enhance reading and book-buying experiences.

“The love for books is core to Dymocks’ aim to enhance customer engagement within and outside our stores,” said Grover.

Utilising the latest hardware, the Acer Iconia range is one of the latest computer tablets to launch in Australia.

The device will support the latest Dymocks eBook App allowing customers to purchase and download digital copies of books and use the Acer tablet as an eBook reader. The official Dymocks eBook App is available to download from the Dymocks website.

Dymocks retail franchises are celebrating the release of these two products by offering customers a free Acer eGift voucher valued at $100 with every Iconia Acer A500 purchase, for a limited time.
