Dymocks continues to open more book stores across Australia

Despite this year’s early shake up, Dymocks book franchises continue to open new stores across the country with seven scheduled to open in the coming months.

According Morris Short, Dymocks’ Franchise Recruitment Manager, he believes the book retail franchises success stems from being Australia’s number one book seller.

“Dymocks has maintained its strong national presence, and has continued to grow when the rest of the industry has fallen behind,” said Short.

“We are recognised as a market leader and our reputation for quality advice, value for money and customer service has continued to attract new franchise owners to the bookselling business.”

Dymocks will be opening two new stores in New South Wales, Western Australia and Victoria, and one new store, already opened, in Queensland.

“Despite recent industry changes, we have seen a boost in the number of opportunities to own and run Dymocks franchise stores than ever before,” said Short.

The seven new Dymocks books franchises will include locations at Carnidale, QLD; Whitford City and Belmont Forum, WA; Castle Towers and Tuggerah, NSW; and Victoria gardens and Werribee, VIC.

“We have also seen existing Dymocks franchise owners express interest in opening their second store, a sentiment that we feel reaffirms the confidence and support Dymocks provides its franchisees,” concluded Short.

Peter Cutter, the newly appointed Dymocks Doncaster franchisee, knew the retail franchise’s model was the right one for him and his family due to its strong and established franchise model.
