Dreamy Donuts launched the Australia’s Next Top Donut competition in September, providing the opportunity for someone to create the donut of their dreams.
Entrants were asked to design a scrumptious donut with their choice of flavours, toppings and/or fillings, and complete an entry form at one of the Dreamy Donuts coffee and donut franchise stores before 28th October 2009. The winning creation will be chosen based on the donut’s imaginative name, clever use of ingredients and the story behind its inspiration.
The winning creation will be named Australia’s Next Top Donut and will be sold in the donut franchise stores around the country for a limited period time. The winning donut will sit alongside a range of simply irresistible gourmet donuts made from fine quality ingredients and made by skilled personnel.
Dreamy Donuts coffee and donut franchise group states that twelve of the best creations will win $500 each and the grand prize winner will receive $5,000 cash.
Finalists of the competition are to be announced on the 1st November 2009 with the winner of Australia’s Next Top Donut being announced on the 15th November 2009 on the Dreamy Donuts Website.
