South Australia key growth area for take away franchises, announces Dominos Pizza Enterprises

As it prepares to ramp up new store openings in the Australian market, Dominos Pizza Enterprises has announced that Adelaide and regional South Australia have been earmarked as key growth areas for the company’s take away franchises.

Dominos Chief Development and Franchising Officer Pat McMichael explains that the company recently undertook a national investigation to identify areas that offered the best opportunities for new pizza franchises.

Adelaide consistently stood out, he says, followed by the growing regional towns of Gawler, Whyalla and Victor Harbour.

The company is currently looking for franchisees to fill these locations, with two new Dominos take away franchises also opening in Muno Para and Mawson Lakes in the coming weeks.

Further expansion into the state is planned, says Mr McMichael.

“We have excellent opportunities for interested business owners across the state and we want to hear from South Australians who are looking to take control of their future and own their own business,” he states.

The company’s recent involvement with Undercover Boss Australia has also boosted interest in Dominos take away franchises, Mr McMichael notes.

Franchisees considering investing in a business, he explains, often want to know what it is really like to work in a store, and if it will suit their lifestyle.

“Our involvement in Undercover Boss answered a lot of those questions for people,” he says. “They were able to see first hand what our stores are like behind the scenes.”

While a focus will be placed on expanding its network of take away franchises in South Australia, Mr McMichael points out that there are also existing stores available across Australia for those interested in purchasing an established business.

“We are focused on our organic growth strategy in Australia but at the same time we have existing stores available for purchase which present new owners with an exciting opportunity within an established location,” he concludes.
