Domino's pizza franchise has announced store refurbishment plans
Dominos pizza franchises will undergo a $24 million store refurbishment program for its stores across Australia and New Zealand in a bid to attract customers and upgrade outdated layouts.
The refurbishment program includes franchised stores undertaking their own upgrades to keep in line with retail trends and customer demands.
“Our store refurbishment program is about bringing older stores back to life and giving them a new look and layout which we know will bring greater sales and new customers. It’s about stepping into the future and delivering a greater overall customer experience,” Domino’s Chief Development and Franchising Officer Pat McMichael said.
The pizza franchises have 40 existing franchise and corporate stores undergoing refurbishment across Australia and New Zealand funded by Domino’s.
Store design for the fast food franchise incorporates softer tones and wood panelling to provide a more welcoming but contemporary feel for customers.
Selected pizza franchises and corporate stores will also feature a seating area for customers and the pizza make line at the front of the store so customers can see their pizzas being made.
