Dominos Pizza Enterprises to unveil half year results next Wednesday

In a media teleconference to be held next Wednesday, 16th February, Dominos Pizza Enterprises CEO Don Meij will unveil the company’s half year results generated by its network of company stores and pizza franchises.

Subject to finalising half year accounts, the company has reported that it expects to achieve results for the first half of the 2011 financial year that are materially above the corresponding first half figures from 2010.

Dominos Pizza Enterprises operates 536 company stores and pizza franchises across Australia and New Zealand, and expects to announce half year net profit after tax figures to 2nd January 2011 in the vicinity of $10 million.

This is an increase of approximately 15% on first half 2010 profits of $8.7 million, and has resulted from strong Same Store Sales across the company in the first six months of the 2011 financial year.

In an improvement of projections announced at the Dominos AGM on 3rd November, 2010, the company now expects total net profit after tax growth throughout the 2011 financial year to be in the region of 15% over the 2010 financial year net profit of $17.8 million.
