DogTech – Australia launches two new dog training franchises in Blue Mountains
Two new Dogtech - Australia dog training franchises have been launched in the Blue Mountains region of New South Wales.
The new pet care franchises will be operated by DogTech Blue Mountains Trainer and Behaviourist David Turner, in conjunction with local veterinarian clinics.
Wentworth Falls Animal Hospital and Mid Mountains Animal Health Centre will be involved in operating the new dog training franchises.
Originally opening in 1993, Mid Mountains Animal Health Centre moved to its current home in 2004. The practice provides complete veterinary services for the whole of the Blue Mountains region.
Wentworth Falls Animal Hospital has been serving the upper Blue Mountains region since 2005 and offers a state-of-the-art veterinary facility.
Mr Tuner notes that veterinarians recommend puppy schools to all new puppy owners.
“One of the key periods of a puppies life is from 8 to 16 weeks – this is a crucial stage where puppies learn what is and isn’t acceptable behaviour,” he explains.
Socialising is a major part of DogTech dog training franchises, Mr Turner says.
“Puppies that are never taught vital social skills may grow up to become confused dogs with behaviour problems.”
He adds that “DogTech is very pleased to be working with two outstanding Veterinary Clinics in the Blue Mountains region to bring this vital service to puppy owners.”
